Sunday Style Wishlist #1

1. ASOS Boyfriend Watch (£22) - So, I've finally given up on my hopes of ever getting a Michael Kors watch. But not to worry, I have found this affordable alternative, in fact I kind of prefer it (sorry Kors!!).

2. ASOS Atlas Hiker Ankle Boots (£38) - This goes without saying, boots are essential for Autumn/Winter (especially if you live up north in the UK where it rains 24/7). The last two pairs I bought are heels - not huge heels - but I need some comfortable boots in my life. These look like the perfect ones for me. I had considered investing in some Doc Martens but I can't picture myself wearing them too much. These look versatile, cute and they will probably last longer than my ebay boots.

3. Topshop Petite Jersey Peplum Top (£18) - I have yet to follow the peplum trend, but after seeing Vivianna Does Makeup looking gorgeous in a black peplum top (here) I have felt inspired to add one to my wardrobe. This sort of burgundy colour is definitely looking to be on trend this Autumn/Winter too.

4. Topshop Bleach Hem Skinny Trousers (£38) - I know the ombre look has been around for quite a while now but I absolutely love these trousers. I practically live in skinny jeans and I have been wanting to take the plunge into buying some patterned trousers like the ones Sophy was wearing in her latest outfit post (here) but haven't quite plucked up the courage. These bleached skinny trousers will draw just the right amount of attention and will hopefully help me gather up the confidence to purchase some patterned trousers soon!

5. Models Own Ibiza Mix (£5) - This nail polish has been on my wishlist forever! I don't own a glittery polish so this looks perfect and I think the colour mix will look great for Autumn and around Christmas time!

6. Warehouse Uptown Bag (£42) - I don't really need to explain why I want this bag - It's a nude beige colour, so will go with anything, it's simple and it's gorgeous.

7. Motel Rocks Rock 'N Rose Ximena Vintage Geometric Triangle Earrings (£14) - I've been eyeing these earrings up for a good while now. I think they'd look great with anything.

Do you like any of the items on my wishlist this week?

Small online clothing haul

During this exam period I've ended up doing a lot of online shopping (eek). I had a look at Bank's website because I needed new shoes and my housemate recommended their website. I've never ordered from there before so was slightly dubious but fell in love with a few of their sale items.

So first things first, the parcel didn't turn up on time... The delivery company stated that they tried to deliver twice but no one was there to sign for the parcel - considering I live at university and there is a porter present to sign for all deliveries 24/7 I found it ridiculous but it did get here in the end!

Second bad note, the packaging was pretty horrendous. I was expecting something a little better wrapped.

But maybe that's just me being super picky?

Onto the clothing!

One more packaging moan, the shoes were not in a box but tied together by an elastic band. Should I overlook that too?

Here they are!

They were £6! £6! I absolutely love them, they are so comfortable and something a little bit different from my current shoe collection.

Next I bought some palazzo trousers. I'm still on the hunt for my perfect maxi skirt but I thought these would be great on holiday because they're nice a lightweight.

But there is a slight issue... they are way too long! They are the perfect fit around the waist (size 12) but the length is verging on ridiculous. So I'm going to try and take the bottoms up a bit! These were £8 in the sale so yet another absolute bargain.

And finally I picked up a Barry M nail polish in 'peach melba', a replacement because my old one went really thick and gloopy (yuck)

So overall I'm impressed with my shoes and trousers (although the trousers don't fit) and I'd love to pick up some more bargains from their website - it is definitely worth checking out. But, I'm unsure whether I'd purchase from them again purely because of the delivery issues!

Have you ever had any mishaps with delivery service?

Also, I received my first ever Glossybox today - their 1st birthday box! (Review to come)

Dreaming of a sunny holiday

Here is my current shopping list for this years summer holiday to France. Yes I may be eager as it is only March, and yes it is only France, but I cannot wait to get away from the UK for 2 weeks! I haven't been able to go abroad for 5 years now so I am as pale as a sheet and dying for a break.

Topshop burgundy maxi front split skirt - £40
ASOS white dress with frilled skirt - £25.99
Zara pink long skirt with pockets - £9.99
ASOS culottes in tribal print - £15.99
ASOS woven t-shirt with jungle mirror print - £30
ASOS ash cindy bis high woven heeled sandal - £159

There's nothing particularly 'out there' in my selection, I like to stay feminine and pretty during the summer. However, I have tried to pick some patterns and colours that I wouldn't usually pick to spice it up a bit.

Ok, so maybe I'll find some alternative sandals... I did screech a little bit when I saw the price tag! What's the most you would pay for a pair of sandals?

Casual work day

I have just had one lecture at university today so I threw on a very casual and comfortable outfit. I thought the patterned top is pretty and has a spring feel to it without being too over the top.

Trousers - Primark
Boots - Ebay
Watch - Sekonda Diamond from H Samuel
Nail Varnish - No 17 Lasting Fix Nail Polish in 'Sweet Kisses'
Lipstick - Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Coral with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Coral Reef on top
